To qualify the last post, see the term 'Chuffed' on http://english2american.com/dictionary/c.html#chuff - so 'Chuffing Nora' is a positive way of saying 'F***ing H**l' or Phwor or like in the cartoons where the mouths drop and the eyes bulge out.
