Would you be willing to give up sex for five years if you could have wonderfully sensual and erotic dreams any night you wished? (that would work out really well for those of us who have intense orgasms with their sexual dreams...)

Me personally, no. Even though I do have intense orgasms with my sexual dreams, they could never match the closeness that sex brings. I feel closer and more special to Rick each time we make love. I wouldn't give that up for anything.

You can't beat having someone there to cuddle with afterwards, I had my share of erotic dreams as a teenager and it gets old waking up alone, not to mention rolling over on a wet spot and when you get up in the morning and rub your eyes with a handfull of....better not get into that here.

But I might trade five weeks for, say, a week of highly erotic dreams. Since, that's kinda what I've got going on already, I know I can handle that.

I did that for a year while I was in Korea; it ain't no fun! Hell I can have an erotic dream anytime I want, as a matter of fact I'm having one now... Sorry, I started to slip away there. Answer: No way, dreams just make you want sex (with another person) that much more.
I've never had an erotic dream that could compare with the real thing.
Apart from any other consideration the real thing is a giving experience.
I have woken up from what I thought was a dream to find myself laying between someone's legs for real or with a real mouth on me..... that is a fabulous way to wake up :-)

erotic dreams are pretty amazing, but not as amazing as the real thing. in my case though the real thing doesn't do what the one in my dreams do ;-). that said my real one- wife- is nothing like the GW here. that all said, i am still thinking this question because the real thing is not that good anymore.

Not a chance! I waited 20 years to have sex...I'm going to enjoy it. Besides...I'd much rather fall asleep happy and exhausted. I don't care WHAT I dream about after that! ;)
I'd have to add a resounding NO as well. I'm going nuts as it is!!! LOL
