Christopher Reeves died yesterday, on the off chance that you did not hear. Very sad. Will you still call him Superman? Because thats exactly what he proved to be. Posted by Hello

GW, I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say...We missed you! Where have you been these past few days? :)

I agree - we've missed you.

And yes - Christopher Reeves will ALWAYS be Superman!

I'm in the minority who doesn't see Christopher Reeves as a tragic hero. Perhaps I would have seen him so had he been a champion of the handicapped before he found himself in a wheelchair, but I wonder if he ever even noticed the handicapped before he tumbled from his horse.

In other news, former major league baseball MVP and former Houston Astro Ken Caminiti also died yesterday, from his own habits. He was 41, and keeled over dead of a myocardial infarction in the Bronx. He had been sentenced last week in a Houston court to 180 days in jail for cocaine abuse. I guess they can go ahead and give his cell to someone else now. Cancelled reservation. I won't expand on my feelings there, except to say good riddance.

I thought a myocardial infarction was in the heart ... not in the Bronx. See how much you can learn from reading GW?

Gone for four days and all we get is a post about Superman? I mean, it's sad and all, but we need our fix ;)

LOL Anonymous, whoever you may be. Yes, a myocardial infarction is medicalese for a heart attack. As to the Bronx, from what I gather, it's as good a portal as any to the halls of hell ... LOL
