My goal is just to live each day to the fullest...to try to better myself...my actions...my thoughts...to be more pleasing to myself, my husband and kids, and most importantly, my God. And to raise my children to know, trust, love ,and live for Christ.
I have a vision of what my life should be, and I have dedicated it to creating beauty and goodness in this universe. Of course, good sex is not only beautiful but can also be VERY good!
Interesting blog. Thanks for sharing. I'll be back often.
Hard to choose just one. Love can lead to excitement and security, can inspire accomplishment and power, and gives its own special kind of knowledge. So out of all of those things I would say love is the most powerful. But that could just be because I am an incurable romantic.
What I strive for, though, is inner peace. That's what it's all about at the end of the day, I think. If you can be at peace with yourself and what you've done with your life then you're not doing too badly.
There are two things I strive for in life, and I'm afraid they sound a bit Pollyanna'ish (yay! I made a new word!) Anyway, the first is to give my kids a clean fighting chance at a happy and healthy life. The second is to try to make a positive impact on the lives of everyone I encounter as much as I possibly can.
Ed stole my inner peace. *snicker* Peace is important to me, though. Too many years went by in turmoil and then I realized that if I wanted to be sane I had to search for peace.
Almost as important is success. Not the generic, fame and fortune success, but the FEELING of success. Like I've done something right, something that furthers my big picture of personal success. It's a bit different from accomplishment somehow, but I won't go into philosophical blatherings here in your comments.

I want it all, and I want it on a nice little silver platter, and I want it delivered!

Accomplishment, love, knowledge, security and to belong to and not own the planet.
GW, what do you strive for?

To have a loving family and raise my kids well.

Knowledge, yes, always. But also harmony and (personal) peace. And joy. Rosie

Love. The kind of love that makes you want to be the best person you can be.
Well, that and the most wonderful life I can provide for my daughter.
